Firestorm

A Ministry of Bethel Church, Redding, CA

Definition

“Firestorm” represents a desire to increase the level (storm) of passionate revival (fire) both individually and corporately and to encourage the spreading of that fire until it touches every part of the surrounding community, thus changing the cultural climate/atmosphere of an entire region; through the release of God’s supernatural kingdom, expressed in signs, wonders, miracles, healings and the prophetic.

Purpose

To Demonstrate: Bethel’s revival culture in the local church setting.

To Empower: The congregation to do the supernatural ministry that Jesus directed his disciples to do.

To Partner: With the local church, so that as “nitro” mixing with “glycerin” would cause an explosion in the natural, so our team coming together with a particular local church would cause an explosion in the supernatural that would result in a greater measure of the presence and power of the Lord released upon the congregation and the city.

To Activate: Each person to be a carrier of the presence of the King and the power of the Kingdom so that it becomes a natural lifestyle.

Meeting Schedule

Friday Night

7 pm  Congregational meeting focusing on raising the level of “passion” for the King and the things of the Kingdom. To experience and demonstrate His manifest presence expressed through healing and the prophetic.

Saturday Afternoon

12 noon - Treasure Hunt Training and Activating
1 - 3 pm - Treasure Hunt - Outreach to the community. This would include a “Treasure Hunt,” which is a unique strategy of getting a “treasure map” from the Holy Spirit utilizing “words of knowledge” and then going out to look for the treasure (people) that God has highlighted on your list and minister to them as appropriate. Note, this is NOT “street witnessing,” “door to door,” or “public preaching,” but rather- looking for the Divine Appointments that God has set up on the list by the Holy Spirit

Saturday Night

6 pm Healing service in which the team brings teaching and testimony, as well as demonstration through words of knowledge and impartation. Preaching with the purpose of imparting to and activating the congregation to continue to do the “stuff” of the Kingdom, as they live naturally in the supernatural.
